Viktoria’s Story: Rediscovering Her Calling

After years of serving as a camp counselor, Viktoria began to feel that her time in ministry might be coming to an end. Despite her experience, she felt uncertain about her future. However, attending the Counselor’s Counselor course through CCI/Russia changed her perspective. The training helped her see how she could continue to grow and use her experience to benefit the team. She went on to play a key role in preparing and mentoring new counselors, reigniting her passion for ministry and leadership.

Viktoria’s journey is a powerful example of how CCI/Russia’s training can restore purpose and guide leaders forward.

Encouragement Across Distances: A Camp’s Journey from the Far East

At our annual conference, we welcomed participants from the Far East, including a team from "The Small Country" camp, a longstanding member of CCI/Russia. Their director, Yelena, coordinated with several churches to fund the trip from Blagoveschensk on the China border, even sacrificing her own attendance to ensure her team could join. In a heartfelt conversation, Yelena shared how much their remote camp relies on CCI’s encouragement and support to combat their sense of isolation.

A Renewed Vision for Camp Ministry in Estonia

Alina from Valga, Estonia, attended her first CCI event with limited motivation to serve. After participating in the Self-Leadership course, she shared, “God showed me the way forward and the areas I need to work on.” Alina returned home with renewed purpose and practical ideas that will benefit not only her camp but camps across all of Estonia.

Strengthening Leaders Across Central Asia and Russia

When in-person training wasn’t possible for some leaders, we organized a five-session online training series for Central Asia and the Asian regions of Russia. These sessions provided essential insights and encouragement. Anatoly Slautin, a CCI Camp Member Director, shared, “Thank you for this time of fellowship! It was important for me to refresh important topics and be encouraged to continue and strive in ministry.”
