On October 19, I had the privilege of attending a special conference focused on Eastern Europe. Norwegian Christians gathered to discuss ways to assist their brothers and sisters in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova, with a particular emphasis on reaching unreached people groups in the region.
In 1973, many churches in Norway committed to praying for towns in the Eastern European part of the Soviet Union, and it was inspiring to meet individuals who have continued this legacy. After the Iron Curtain fell, these churches began sending missionaries and providing support to local congregations. I was deeply touched by this endeavor, and it was heartening to connect with people dedicated to praying for and ministering to Russian communities and neighboring countries.
During the conference, I shared about the challenges faced by camp leaders and offered a testimony from a camp in Belarus, highlighting the importance of continued support and collaboration in our ministry efforts.
