One of the highlights of my recent trip was a unique meeting in Denton. In 2006, we hosted a camp in the Tver region, where several families from Denton Bible Church came to serve with us. That collaboration was truly special.
I vividly remember their humility and dedication—they were ready to do anything to support our team, whether it was sweeping the floor, washing the dishes, helping counselors guide kids to discover God. Their example of servants-heart ministry left a lasting impression.
Our reconnection after so many years was deeply moving. I was so blessed to see Phyllis and Paige again. It was amazing to hear that one of Phyllis’s sons had decided to become a missionary in Africa, knowing that his first missionary experience was at our camp. We shared joys and challenges, reminisced about those unforgettable times, and God put it on our hearts to pray for each other. It was a beautiful reminder of how God uses connections across time and distance to build His Kingdom.
