After the conference ended, a new event — a family camp — began moving in. To my surprise, I recognized some of the families. One of the participants approached me and asked if I remembered him. He had attended our camp as a child and is now a university student actively involved in his church. With sincerity in his voice, he said, “Thank you for my childhood.”
Moments like these remind me why we do what we do. What a beautiful testimony to the lasting impact of camp ministry!
