Yesterday we launched the kids camp for Moscow Bible Church, and I had the joy of organizing teambuilding activities for 35 staff members and 20 teenage helpers. It was special to watch newcomers and long-time team members bond through games, creative challenges, and prayer.
A week before camp started, we gathered for a training session with our teenage volunteers — many of whom were once campers themselves. I’ve known some of them since they were 7 years old when they started coming to our camp, others since their earliest days in Sunday school. I’m deeply moved by the beautiful continuity of generations. These young leaders are now giving back, stepping into their roles as role models for the next generation.
